Commissioners' Meeting Minutes - Week of August 5, 2024

***Monday, August 5, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., Commissioners met in regular session with Chairman Tim Bertling, Commissioner Wally Cossairt, Clerk Glenda Poston, and Deputy Clerk Michelle Rohrwasser.

Commissioners said the Pledge of Allegiance.

9:00 a.m., Courthouse Maintenance Squire Fields and Assistant Mike Kralik joined the meeting to give the department report. Mr. Fields and Mr. Kralik provided an update on the status of the remodel project for the new Assessor’s offices, getting the new Restorium maintenance person started, county boat launches, etc.

***Monday, September 16, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., Commissioners met in regular session with Chairman Tim Bertling, Commissioner Wally Cossairt, Commissioner Ben Robertson, Deputy Clerk Stephanie Sims and Clerk Glenda Poston.
Commissioners said the Pledge of Allegiance.

9:00 a.m.: Solid Waste Department Superintendent Richard Jenkins, Bid opening for Metal Pile. One bid was received from Pacific Steel and Metal at $88.00/Ton, Commissioners Robertson motioned to reject all bids for metal pile, Commissioner Cossairt 2nd, MSC.

***Monday, September 9, 2024, Commissioners did not meet in regular session as there was no quorum present.

***Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., Commissioners met in regular session with Commissioner Wally Cossairt, Commissioner Ben Robertson, and Clerk Glenda Poston. Commissioner Robertson appointed Commissioner Cossairt as chair. Commissioner Bertling was attending a NACO fly in, in Washington D.C.

Commissioners said the Pledge of Allegiance.

***Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., Commissioners met in regular session with Chairman Tim Bertling, Commissioner Wally Cossairt, Commissioner Ben Robertson, and Clerk Glenda Poston.
Commissioners said the Pledge of Allegiance.

9:00 a.m., Commissioner Cossairt moved to recess as the Boundary County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Boundary County Ambulance Service District Governing Board. Commissioner Robertson second. Motion passed unanimously.
